Strength: Catholic Bible Verses
(Josh1:9) 9Behold, I am instructing you. Be strengthened, and be steadfast. Do not dread, and do not fear. For the Lord your God is with you in all things, wherever you may go.”
(1Chr28:20) 20David also said to his son Solomon: “Act manfully, and be strengthened, and carry it out. You should not be afraid, and you should not be dismayed. For the Lord my God will be with you, and he will not send you away, nor will he abandon you, until you have perfected the entire work of the ministry of the house of the Lord.
(Psa28:7) 7The Lord is my helper and my protector. In him, my heart has hoped and I have been helped. And my flesh has flourished again. And from my will, I shall confess to him.
(Psa145:18) 18The Lord is near to all who call upon him, to all who call upon him in truth.

(Nah1:7) 7The Lord is good, and a comforter in the day of tribulation, and he knows those who hope in him.
(Mt5:38-42) 38You have heard that it was said: ‘An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.’ 39But I say to you, do not resist one who is evil, but if anyone will have struck you on your right cheek, offer to him the other also. 40And anyone who wishes to contend with you in judgment, and to take away your tunic, release to him your cloak also. 41And whoever will have compelled you for one thousand steps, go with him even for two thousand steps. 42Whoever asks of you, give to him. And if anyone would borrow from you, do not turn away from him.
(Mt5:43-48) 43You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor, and you shall have hatred for your enemy.’ 44But I say to you: Love your enemies. Do good to those who hate you. And pray for those who persecute and slander you. 45In this way, you shall be sons of your Father, who is in heaven. He causes his sun to rise upon the good and the bad, and he causes it to rain upon the just and the unjust. 46For if you love those who love you, what reward will you have? Do not even tax collectors behave this way? 47And if you greet only your brothers, what more have you done? Do not even the pagans behave this way? 48Therefore, be perfect, even as your heavenly Father is perfect.”
(Mt10:29-31) 29Are not two sparrows sold for one small coin? And yet not one of them will fall to the ground without your Father. 30For even the hairs of your head have all been numbered. 31Therefore, do not be afraid. You are worth more than many sparrows.

(Jn15:4-8) 4Abide in me, and I in you. Just as the branch is not able to bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, so also are you unable, unless you abide in me. 5I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me, and I in him, bears much fruit. For without me, you are able to do nothing. 6If anyone does not abide in me, he will be cast away, like a branch, and he will wither, and they will gather him and cast him into the fire, and he burns. 7If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, then you may ask for whatever you will, and it shall be done for you. 8In this, my Father is glorified: that you should bring forth very much fruit and become my disciples.

(Rom8:28) 28And we know that, for those who love God, all things work together unto good, for those who, in accordance with his purpose, are called to be saints.
(Rom12:19-21) 19Do not defend yourselves, dearest ones. Instead, step aside from wrath. For it is written: “Vengeance is mine. I shall give retribution, says the Lord.” 20So if an enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him a drink. For in doing so, you will heap burning coals upon his head. 21Do not allow evil to prevail, instead prevail over evil by means of goodness.
(1Cor10:13) 13Temptation should not take hold of you, except what is human. For God is faithful, and he will not permit you to be tempted beyond your ability. Instead, he will effect his Providence, even during temptation, so that you may be able to bear it.
(2Cor12:7-10) 7And lest the greatness of the revelations should extol me, there was given to me a prodding in my flesh: an angel of Satan, who struck me repeatedly. 8Because of this, three times I petitioned the Lord that it might be taken away from me. 9And he said to me: “My grace is sufficient for you. For virtue is perfected in weakness.” And so, willingly shall I glory in my weaknesses, so that the virtue of Christ may live within me. 10Because of this, I am pleased in my infirmity: in reproaches, in difficulties, in persecutions, in distresses, for the sake of Christ. For when I am weak, then I am powerful.
(1Pet1:6-7) 6In this, you should exult, if now, for a brief time, it is necessary to be made sorrowful by various trials, 7so that the testing of your faith, which is much more precious than gold tested by fire, may be found in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
